Description
MSTISLAV ROSTROPOVICH Britten Suite For Cello op 72, Second Suite for Cello op 80, 1970 LP, Decca stereo SXL 6393, UK.
Black wideband label, Made in England.
Cover has some age browning around edges, otherwise Excellent. Vinyl clean and shiny, no spindle marks, Excellent but for a very small scratch near the start of side 1 which causes 8 soft clicks. Labels clean.
NOTE ON CLASSICAL RECORDS: though I deal in records, I am not a classical specialist, and have a mid grade sound system. Levels of play wear can be hard to judge precisely. I try to grade conservatively. You can see that my feedback is good, anyway!

grading
Grading done visually and by playing a few sections. Any scratches tested.
MINT means as new. If the record appears almost unplayed I use NEAR MINT. This is not a common grading.
EXCELLENT means played but well cared for, very little (if any) lessening in sound quality, no scratches. Cover may have very light wear. A quality used record!
VG+ means definitely used but without any major deterioration in sound quality, may have some light surface wear, surface marks or small, light scratches. These will be detailed in my description. Cover has some wear, but no major creases or seam splits. A very good record!
VG means played to the point of developing surface wear, and/or some deeper scratches. These will be detailed. Cover displays general wear and tear.
Anything less will be described and not given a grading.
