NEW YORK ROCK FESTIVAL at THE SINGER BOWL, Flushing Meadows, Queens, N.Y.... which ran for Four [4] weekends from August 2, 1968 through August 30.
The start of the four weekend long NEW YORK ROCK FESTIVAL at THE SINGER BOWL, August 1968.
The Festival started with THE DOORS and THE WHO on August 2, 1968, follwed by JIMI HENDRIX and THE EXPERIENCE, and JANIS JOPLIN and BIG BROTHER AND THE HOLDING COMPANY, THE CHAMBER BROTHERS and THE SOFT MACHINE on August 23, 1968. The last performance featured THE RASCALS and THE VAGRANTS on August 30.......
Handbill / Flyer is printed on one side.......Approximate Size is 12 1/2" X 7". It has been folded and placed in an envelope for safe keeping all these years.....IT IS IN VERY FINE CONDITION........THIS HANDBILL IS AN ORIGINAL PERIOD PIECE....IT IS NOT A LATER PRINTING...IT IS NOT A FAKE.....IT IS A GUARANTEED ORIGINAL.
CONCERT HANDBILL HAS VERY SOUND PROVENANCE [Was obtained directly from the Estate of the original owner, Harold Siegel in Long Island, New York, along with other memorabilia relating to the same concert]..........PLEASE SEE ALL PICTURES.......................... .!!!!
