ARTIST: Carl Mann
LABEL: Phillips PLP 1960 (1960)
TITLE: Like Mann
CONDITION:
Sleeve: VG to VG+ w/ some front cover wear, 4" heavy seam wear - partially split but still attached, 1/2" bottom seam split at the bottom left corner, top seam has heavy wear and is partially split but still attached, corner wear, a bottom right corner bend. The back cover has some light wear on the white background and a small original price at the top right corner - 1.98. The spine has just a few tiny wear spots but all the graphics are readable except for the top of one of the "PLP"'s.
Record: Retains high original gloss w/ some light surface scuffs and some very light surface scratches on Tracks 3 & 4, Side A that do not affect play. The LP plays a strong VG++ w/ some light random background surface noise & some light random ticks. Has great sound presence! / VPI cleaned
COMMENTS: Original deep groove copy of this very rare Memphis rockabilly LP on the Sun subsidiary label Phillips. It's a very cool LP w/ some killer guitar from Eddie Bush and great drumming form the legendary W.S. Holland.
