Description
Up for auction is a rare special order Victor record made for the centenary of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. It was made in 1927 at the railroad's 100th anniversary, which ran from September to October of 1927. In addition to the "Baltimore and Ohio Centenary Song" is the "Star Spangled Banner" and "I've Been Working on the Railroad." As you can see on the label, this is a specially made electric record from the Victor Talking Machine Company. I visually grade the record at E-, although I think it plays VG+. There are a few light surface scratches and scuffs, as well as some light groove graying. In all, it's a good record for your phonograph, Victrola, or turntable, as well as for that cross over collector. This record came out of an estate and has not been cleaned, but should clean up nicely. I will offer returns if you are not happy with the visual grading.
