BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN: Tunnel Of Love/Michael Jackson Bad unique combined MISPRESS. (UK LP 1987)
For auction this bizarre super rarity. A picture disc of Michael Jackson's Bad that actually plays Bruce Springsteen's 'Tunnel Of Love' album. Just when people thought they had everything on vinyl by Bruce & Jacko - something like this shows up.
Both of these LP's were released as pic discs in the UK in '87 but definitely never meant to be like this! I have never seen this mad mispressing show up on either singer's discography.
There cannot be another one out there. How it happened we can only guess though obviously somebody briefly forgot to change the master tapes over at the pressing plant and this unique copy slipped out featuring BOTH artists.
Is it a Springsteen mega rarity or a Jackson ultra collectable? It's certainly a fantastically rare record, never meant to be available to the public, crazily combining two of the biggest selling albums of 1987. Most likely this the only one in the world.
An extraordinary discovery and I think we can be sure another one will not be turning up for auction any time soon. Good luck with your bids.
