Description

This 12” diameter, long-playing, 33 1/3 rpm vinyl record is Wedge (Orange Wedge), “No One Left But Me”, (private pressing) catalog #1434 ©1974. Maryland’s seriously heavy Orange Wedge was comprised at that time of Joe Farace, Gene Ingham, Tom Rizzo and Greg Coulson. The tracks on this hard-to-find gem are “S.P.”, “Hungry Man”, the title song, “Dream”, “Whiskey & Gin”, “People” and “The Gate“.

The seams on the jacket are split to this degree (top = 100%, bottom = 50%, spine = 25%). I’ll leave it to the new owner to repair them, if he chooses. Beyond that, the jacket has no writing, stamps, stickers or cutout marks and only moderate ring wear. The record’s playing surfaces have a surprisingly bright sheen to them with a smattering of scuffs and very light scratches. The most serious-looking one (lead-in to side two) elicited no ticks. I cleaned this record with my Nitty Gritty wet vacuum machine and the only noises heard during playback were due to the notoriously poor vinyl and pressing job the band got. I’m making this sound a lot worse than it is. The record looks nice and plays with as much sonic authority as was built in to it. Great underground, hard rock, seventies album. Bid on this original pressing while there’s still one left to bid on. Free shipping if a “buy-it-now” bid is placed.

This LP will be sent to you in a new, well-padded cardboard record mailer and shipping and handling charge will be $6.00 (includes Priority Mail delivery). Outside the U.S., shipping will be airmail only. You may pay with money orders, cashiers checks, PayPal or personal checks (2 week hold) and I do collect 6 1/2% sales tax from Minnesota buyers.
