This release fits into the Speakeasy mission statement because it’s part of a limited 2000 piece german re-pressing of this, the quintessential RHCP album. So it’s limited.

But I’d like to introduce a new definition of rare. This album is rare in the way that it’s unlike any other albums I’ve ever heard. Tracks like Breaking The Girl and Under The Bridge are just unique rock songs.

If you’re a serious collector, you need to own this album just for the significance I know it will hold 200 years from now. Also, read Anthony Keidis’ autobiography to learn about the headspace from which these songs drew their genesis. If that doesn’t convince you of their importance, nothing will.
