Description

Hello! This is an auction for a copy of the rare 10" 78 RPM release Another Chance/ Things That Don't Concern You on Vocalion, catalogue number 02624. This release seems to be from 1931 or thereabouts. I honestly can't find much about this release online... It is credited to "Rev. Booker T. White", which upon a search brought up the legendary blues artist Bukka White (whose full name is Booker T. Washington White, and whom did end up recording for Vocalion), but I can't find anything that really ties him to this release, despite the name similarity. I have found this release credited to Rev. Emmett Dickinson by a few different sources, and he notably showed up on several blues labels around this time. Either way, this is a pretty interesting historical document. This particular copy is in quite nice shape, with only rather light wear to speak of, and notably no cracks or chips whatsoever. If you're looking to add this release to your collection, this would be a great copy to go for. I have experience shipping 78s and can assure you that I will pack this item safely and securely. Good luck!
