Description
From my personal vinyl record collection of 55+ years.
This 1966 UK Mono recording is on The Parlophone Label - PMC 7009 nb. Black/Yellow Parlophone Labels.
Matrix/Run-out : Side 1. XEX 605-2 RPG Side 2. XEX 606-3 ROM Always difficult to be exact when identifying editions, but this is undoubtedly a very early mono.
I've played the album completely through on speakers and headphones, and it plays well with no skips, and, overall, for 58 years, sounds great. There are fine scratch lines on both surfaces but none are 'feelable'.
On side one I noticed some light clicks on track 2, Eleanor Rigby, which were quickly overshadowed by the music. I also heard similar on track 5, 'Here, There and Everywhere'.
I heard very little crackle, or background noise either between the tracks, nor at the beginning and end of either side. Vinyl VG+ (fine 'non feelable' scratch lines on both surfaces). Front laminate ,flip-back sleeve EX (Light discolouration along front spine edge. Light edge wear to open edge. Small name written on rear top left). Please see photos.
