Description
A very scarce original Variation B New Times Roman script pressing of the Revolver Album. Nearly all these pressings were made on old machine press but this version was pressed on the standard press which is very very rare !!
This variation which has Times New Roman font. This label exhibits a new layout design most notably with side one having both “Taxman” and “Eleanor Rigby” on the first line. Yet it also displays the incorrect Dr. Robert spelling on side 2. The credits pattern of “Song (Composer)-Lead Singer” has also now switched to “Song-Lead Singer (Composer)”. This was a scarce press using Variation B script on Variation C standard pressing machine !!
Cover is in Excellent condition. No deterioration in the reverse colour at all. No fading of the Black. The best rear cover I have owned of this album. Perfect !! Spine as fully readable with no creasing.
Vinyl is in VG condition with surface marks. No scratches or skips. Labels are in VG condition rated because of slight marking around spindle Please see photo’s.
Side 1 is a -2 pressing with GRD 1 stampers. Side 2 is a -3 pressing with TP 4 stampers and KT tax code.
The inner bag the original ‘patent applied for’ white sleeve is in excellent condition with no splits or tares. Kept that way because vinyl has been housed in an alternative inner sleeve.
