Description
This is an original silk screen poster by the artist duo Michael english and Nigel Waymouth, known as Hapshash. The poster advertises an exhibition of art by Richard Bernstein in an Amsterdam gallery in the late 1960s. Condition is superb, with only mild wrinkles. Measures 20 ins by 30 ins. Superb silk screen print in day glo colours. Black light reactive.
The Hapshash series included posters for bans such as The Who, Pink Floyd, Arthur Brown and others.
This is on of a number of undistributed posters found with the family of original printing agent TSR, with the aid of the late and great Alf Bicknall, chauffeur for the Beatles in the sixties.
