1965 UK 1ST PRESSING LP
**GREAT COPY**
This superb 1st pressing is on the UK red 'grooved & unboxed' Decca label LK.4661
Housed in a front laminated, flipback 'MacNeill Press' cover which includes the 'Blind Man' text in the rear sleevenote.
Complete with its original poly-lined inner-sleeve.
Matrix numbers: XARL 6619-1A & XARL 6620-1A
Stamper numbers: 2B/G & 2B/G
The cover looks like it has just been brought home from the shop.
The front panel bears just a few feint creases to the spine but laminate is undamaged and has no 'thumbnail' creases at all.
The opening edge is sharp, clean and unworn - front an rear - and the corners are sharp, square and unbumped.
The rear panel is pristine white with no discolouration or marking.
The spine is perfect - unsquashed with its original factory 'pinching' at both ends. All seams and 'flipbacks' are intact and undamaged.
Hard to find a better looking example.
Absolutely pristine surfaces which even under a strong, direct halogen desk lamp appear incredibly 'as new' with no hairlines, scuffs, marks or scratches.
100% flat on the turntable without any dishing or warping.
Loud and powerful sound from this great pressing with a touch of intermittant wear audible on a few extreme peaks.
There is some low-level noise between some tracks but no pops, clicks, jumps or repeats anywhere.
A superb copy.
