Description

An original 1st press of OOOH's on UK Decca from 1965. Matrix 12A/11B. Note the labels exhibit the Decca deep groove and the publishing date is indented - all signs of 1st pressing. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Clout & Baker cover with pinched spine. We also have the original Decca inner sleeve. So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Absolutely superb - given the vintage very very impressive. Has seen only light use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveal a mostly EXCELLENT+ level of playback. And on a '65 Stones LP that really is quite unusual. Intros and inbetweens lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity. No kidding - this record is a complete banger. It really is only very occasionally that you find a Stones LP playing back this clean and clear. I don't recall ever witnessing better. EVERYTHING is in the mix - it's got the full gamut. I'm not getting background even in the quiet fussy numbers. It really is extremely impressive. Maybe a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated spots per side. FINAL UPGRADE. Please note sticker residue on one of the labels.
Cover (Ex-) Again, these original Stones cover are VERY difficult to find in decent condition. If you don't believe me - go take a look at a few other examples. MOST original copies DO NOT look like this in 2022. A beautifully clean and flat front with no laminate lift and incredibly - just one miniscule thumbnail. Lightest evidence of ageing on the rear - much much better than you typically find. Not really any signs of surface wear on the rear either. Very little signs of edge wear and firm solid openings. The only fault I can pick out is a 1 inch patch of wear in the middle of the top edge [absolutely no big deal]. The spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. HIGHLY UNUSUAL.  
Inner (Vg+) Light ageing. Bag present. NO splits.
