Description

An original 1st issue of OOOH's on UK Decca from 1965. Matrix 11A/8B. Stampers 1-UU/1-IH. Please note the labels exhibit the Decca deep groove which you'd expect to find on pressings around 1st issue in 1965. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original Clout & Baker cover with pinched spine. We also have an original mid-sixties Decca poly-lined inner sleeve. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex+) In beautiful condition and has only seen light careful use. Tilt the record into the light and you can get that shine off of the grooves - from only a lightly used record. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of light marks per side - absolutely nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Wow, an absolutely perfectly clean player - not an easy find. Even nice looking copies often don't play to this standard. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with perfect clarity [consistently]. I'm finding it difficult to pick fault with. Even into those lower key numbers it is playing clean as a whistle. At worst a couple of crackles in  a couple of isolated spots per side. It would be nigh on impossible to improve upon. One of the best renditions of this title I've witnessed. FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Vg+) These early Stones covers are a bugger to find looking in decent condition - but this example is in very rude health. It's got a lovely flat front cover without the dreaded laminate lift - just a couple of minor creases. The rear is usually the problem area - but it's looking pretty tidy. No sign of the usual wear that starts to obscure the imaging on the rear [very nice!]. It hasn't managed to entirely avoid the ageing process - a light amount is observable at the extremities. Edge wear is very slight for this title and the openings are still sharpish. The spine is 100% intact - nice! Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity. A very very fine specimen.
Inner (Ex) Unaged and no splits evident.
