Ronnie Boykins "The Will Come, Is Now" featuring Joe Ferguson, Monty Waters, James Vass, Daoud Haroom, Art Lewis, George Avaloz recorded 1975 / original issue Ronnie Boykins (1935 –1980) is best known for his work with pianist/bandleader Sun Ra, although he had played with such disparate musicians as Muddy Waters, Johnny Griffin, and Jimmy Witherspoon prior to joining Sun Ra's Arkestra. To my knowledge, this is the only LP he recorded under his own name.
