Description

This auction is for an authentic original Rush self-titled debut vinyl LP album record on Moon Records.  The Moon Records catalog number of this Rush first 1st Canadian LP album record on black vinyl with light blue colored labels (and dark blue Moon Records logo) is MN-100.  The Matrix numbers on the vinyl of this original Moon Records Rush 1st Canadian vinyl pressing are MN-100-A and MN-100-B.
This first Canadian pressing of Rush on Moon Records (MN-100) has had the same owner since purchase in 1974.   The record was bought at Sam The Record Man in downtown Toronto by the original owner during the first week of its release in 1974.  This vinyl record album of Rush has been unplayed since the mid 1970's and in total has been played (by its original owner) about 4 or 5 times (or less) on high end equipment only.  The last time this Rush LP vinyl LP album on Moon Records was played (mid 1970's), it was transferred to audio cassette.  That cassette is the medium that was used to listen to this Rush debut first LP vinyl album record on Moon Records (catalog #MN-100) since that time.  The vinyl has no visible scratches or other defects.
Based on my observations, I would grade the vinyl of this Rush Moon Records album as Near Mint (NM).  I would grade the album sleeve as Excellent (just slightly below Near Mint).  There is some minor surface wear on the front and back of album cover.  There are no marks (such as handwriting) on the album sleeve or the vinyl record.  There are no splits in the album sleeve. Please refer to the photos and ask any questions about the condition of this original authentic Rush first Canadian vinyl LP album record pressing on Moon Records from 1974.  Overall, this is an LP album in great condition, especially for its age.  It has been well cared for by the original owner.
