SAX O 2411 B/S T/S Klemperer.Oistrakh Brahms Violin LP
NM- (minus)cover, NM- ( minus)LP.
This LP has the same master stampers as the collectible UK Columbia pressing stock No. SAX 2411. (also YLX 1062-3 , YLX 1063-2 -3 stampers) This issue is from Australia. In all the thousands of records I have sorted through in Australia, this is the first copy of this I have seen. Even in Australia, the australian issue turquoise labels are extremely rare. All Australian SAX Columbias have a suffix to the normal UK stock no. SAXO instead of SAX, but all other details correspond to the UK issues.
RECORD has one spot end of side TWO that has 8 repetetive tics, only visible as a small compaction dent 8 tracks wide, no skips involved anywhere on LP, OTHERWISE, VERY FEW NON REPETETIVE minor tics, mainly in both sides intro before the soloist begins)
I would suggest You would have to pay many more dollars than this will finish for, to find a UK pressing this clean and with such minimal vinyl interference.
Klemperer conducts the French National Radio Orchestra playing Brahms Violin Concerto in D Major Op 77
Stampers side 1 YLX 1062 - 1
Stampers side 2 YLX 1063 - 2
Record fully test played, test play report below
If you already have an original UK COLUMBIA pressing, Buy THIS lp and You can play it instead of wearing out your original SAX 2537 investment !

NO..... I will not reduce the stated value of the LP on any customs declarations, Australia post bases its insurance on the declared value, so if I understate it I am at risk of losing its value should it go missing, You as a buyer are covered by paypal protection, so bid accordingly.
NO .... Paypal does not cover me if its not insured, I know I have looked into the situation EXTENSIVELY!!
Condition (see Photo's) COVER- The Australian Printed cover with Australian rear card, is NM-, only some small creases in front cover , NO tears or seam splits, BUT be aware it is a THIN Card issue, much like the thin issue of an SXL decca cover, which is even more amazing it is in such great condition. No corner bends or rounding. The previous owner , a professional cello player has looked after this LP very well , no obvious ringwear, just the slight embossing of the LP circle in the cardboard, (see photo's)There is minor corner rounding but no seam splits or tears. Rear unlaminated cover is NOT AT ALL YELLOW with age.
LP' hAS THE PREVIOUSLY MENTIONED 8 TICS IN FINAL MOVEMENT ONLY VISIBLE WITH MAGNIFYING GLASS A SMALL COMPACTION DENT OBVIOUSLY 8 GROOVES WIDE, in some quiet parts of the recording it has the occasional static crackle in odd sections, but has been getting quieter since cleaning and I have played it twice in full since cleaning, these quiet crackles may lessen with a few more plays, but I don't have the time for a $5 record.....
LP is shiny with Minimal paper scuffs only in very bright light .the rest of the record has occasional quiet static crackle in a few very quiet musical passages. The WHOLE of the record plays very cleanly.
LP was dust free and clean, a few spindle marks on both sides labels,.Record has been wet washed in a Knosti record bath.
Has it's original clear dust jacket.
