****PLEASE READ ALL THE INFORMATION****
VINYL - a heavily used copy that was obviously not properly handled or looked after. There are NUMEROUS needle marks & scuffs across both sides, apart from a few exceptions - nothing that can be felt with fingertips. The first track on side 'A' has a horizontal scratch that breaks the surface of the vinyl - on my turntable it plays over this only causing pops for the duration without skip or jump. There may also be other small, deeper mark that can be felt which causes louder pops for the duration.
I have listened to it almost all the way through and it plays throughout without interruption. Overall to my ears it gives a LISTENABLE playback - expect CONSTANT surface noise throughout in the way of crackle & pop rather than distortion. Despite obvious loss of sound quality the record is still functional & for my experience listening to it I find the surface noise intrusive but not overpowering despite the gentle nature of much of the music, in louder tracks with the drumkit and full backing it is not quite as noticeable. I have deep cleaned it on a MOTH/2 RCM which has brightened it up a little and removed some hissing that was present.
SLEEVE - Intact, centre split in spine but the text is still legible, the laminate has creasing, the back panel is fairly heavily stained / dirty but not obscuring the text or pictures & there is nothing to overpower. It does not have the original mono indicating inner sleeve.
Rather than simply offering a grade I have described the item in detail and as honestly as possible.
I play records on a Technics 1210-MK2 with a light tone arm weight.
Please remember my intentions are good & that grading & the experience of a record in this condition is subjective.
It is at best a 'starter copy' but a collectable item in the original format.
Price is set lower than one in similar condition that sold at auction in 2006.
