ELECTROLA STE-91221, stereo, white-gold-red label - 1st german pressing
Recorded 20-22 November 1961, released 1962
Matrix: 2YVH-41-1 & 2YVH-42-1 -> same as the UK HMV ASD-493
Strange thing about the catalogue numbers. On this cover the number is corrected by hand from SME to STE. The label shows the number STE. Other german 1st pressings have SME in the catalogue number!
Superb sound quality - a wonderful orchestra & Schuricht at his best ! Very rare in this perfect condition ! Highly recommeded !
