“Nicolas Winding Refn presents Oldboy” Soundtrack Pressed on 180 Gram Red/Orange Swirl Vinyl - US Release - Limited Edition of 1000 (with digital download card) SIGNED by Nicolas Winding Refn

South Korean Writer/Director Park Chan-Wook’s “Oldboy” (2003) is a cult classic masterpiece and among those who hold this film in the highest of regards is Danish Writer/Director/Producer Nicolas Winding Refn (“Drive,” “The Neon Demon”). So much so, in fact, that he executive produced the film’s vinyl soundtrack release! Refn even oversaw the visual presentation with artwork by acclaimed illustrator Laurent Durieux! The artwork created for the LP was also released as a limited edition screen print poster by MONDO Gallery.

The soundtrack, released in 2014 through Milan Records with original music by Cho Young-Wuk with Shim Hyun-Jung, Choi Seung-Hyun, Lee Ji-Su, features a digital download card and is pressed on 180 gram red vinyl (US release) with an edition 1000.

I purchased the LP brand new, removing the plastic so Mr. Refn could the cover. The record has ever been played.

In September of 2015 MONDO Gallery in Austin, Texas held an event with Nicolas Winding Refn as their special guest which I attended. Mr. Refn was so exceedingly kind and gracious and even agreed to sign my Oldboy poster and both of my LPs (US and Euro)! He commented that he’d not been asked to sign any of these items before which led to a very insightful discussion about his involvement in the projects and his love of Park Chan-Wook’s film. So to the best of my knowledge this is the only Oldboy LP-US signed by Refn!
