Description
ARTIST: SMALL FACES
TITLE: SMALL FACES
LABEL: DECCA LK 4790
This is a nice copy of this LP on the uboxed red Decca MONO label (see photos). The deep groove vinyl retains its original oily lustre and has just a few light scuffs and whispey hairlines that can only be seen under a bright light. It plays with no appreciable lessening in sound quality. Graded EX
The labels are nice - no marks or wear (see photos) Grade EX+.
The James Upton cover is also nice - very little to comment about given the state these usually turn up in. This one is FLAT, with sharp UNWORN edges and sharp corners still. The psine is straight with totally rpistine writing and only one small laminate crease. The cover has no creases and just small laminate creses on the bttom edge. The unlaminated rear is still clean - no major grubbiness and the owners name written (see photo) If o for this I would garde it EX+ for this cover.
So an excellent copy of this rare LP.

BUYER INFORMATION
PLEASE NOTE I NO LONGER USE THE TERM 'MINT' OR 'NEAR MINT' to describe vinyl. In practice there are very few records out there that have not been played at least once except those still sealed in shrink wrap. I aim to describe the visual appearance of all items accurately using the standards below which are based on the UK Record Collector Price Guide. The highest grade I use now is EX++. Please read the description of the item in the listing carefully and study photographs to avoid disappointment later. I will refund only on items which do not conform to the description and standards set out here.
GRADING SYSTEM
EXCELLENT: The item has been played and may have some light surface marks but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents have slight wear.
VERY GOOD: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Cover and contents show some wear.
GOOD:The record has been played and alot and sound quality has deteriorated noticeably. The cover and contents are damaged.
I use EX++,EX+,EX,EX-,VG++,VG+,VG,VG- as subsidiary gradings. Unless the record is extremely rare I do not sell items which are less than VG- in condition.
