SOCIAL DISTORTION
1945 / Under my thumb / Playpen
Catalogue Number - SD 4501
Label - 13th Floor
Year Of Release - 1982
A release that is as mysterious as it can get - purchased by myself for good money some 10 years ago this is the first release of Fullerton's heroes Social Distortion. The original release - at least a few of them - came in a B/W, yellow or blue xeroxed sleeve. Xeroxed sleeves are a tricky thing and I cannot say whether this tampered with or not - it has been folded, smells a bit smoky and aged but I'm not a specialist in evaluating paper. I'm known as a respectable collector and sellers - hence want to point all of this out and don't want to come up with a BS story about my second grade cousin who got it from Mike Ness personally blah blah blah.................
I put the reserve at a reasonable level and let the market decide about this item.
The twice folded sleeve shows signs of wear - however NOT torn so I would grade it as VG - the vinyl shows some hairline marks etc - so I would grade it at VG- as well.
