One of the great Midwestern American rock albums. Even though the Goo-Goo Dolls went on to sell millions based on this sound, this is where it all started. "Sometime to Return" is just a flat-out classic, as it "Cartoon" and "Marionette" - I'm glad these guys had their moment in the sun with GRAVE DANCERS, but to my ears, this was their peak moment. A flat out classic album from a band firing on all cylinders.The shining star of Soul Asylum's catalog, Hang Time is a lyrical and musical joyride.
