You are bidding for an ORIGINAL pressing of the first Stackridge Album - 'STACKRIDGE'

This album has been in my collection for 43 years now, and has a personal and interesting history. Back in 1971, Stackridge emerged from being The Stackridge Lemon, with an MCA recording contract. At that time, I was friendly with the guys that ran the 'Plastic Dog' entertainment agency in Bristol, and knew the Stackridge Guys through them, as well as the Clifton scene at the time. I was given this album by the boys when the album was released, (hence my name in letraset on the album sleeve), and it has been in the collection ever since. Just telling you the story that's all.!! So let's get down to the nitty gritty !

I am NOT a dealer in any way, and so my descriptions are as honest and correct as I they can possibly be, but not the official gradings, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. So here goes....

Cover - The original double Gatefold sleeve in very good condition for it's age.. Spine and edges show some scuffing.. some very slight scuffing to the corners, but the printing on the spine is still quite readable. There is a small surface tear at the bottom left hand corner of the front of the sleeve, (see photo...the tear is just under the bottom seagull's wing) and there is a small historic repair carried out at some point to the top rear edge of the back of the sleeve. (Photo attached).

The inner sleeve is the original MCA blue stereo sleeve with it's plastic inner lining. A bit worn, but no rips or tears.

The album is catalogued as 1 MDKS8002b(Side 1) and 2 MDKS 8002 side 2. On the side 1 run-off it has 7-LNMG 242-2L, and on side 2 it has 7-LNMG 243-2L etched. There is some slight surface marking, but the vinyl itself is unaffected by any other significant or deep scratching, and overall is in good, bright condition for a 43 year old piece of vinyl !! The label is the ORIGINAL MCA Maroon/Orange 1971 style.

I will send securely wrapped in bubble wrap, and packed in cardboard outer. Postage UK by Royal mail second class parcels. I will post overseas, at buyers risk, and expense, with an insured option. I have quoted £12.60, but this may vary either way, depending on location of Buyer, and whether or not insurance is required.
