Description

This auction is for a complete original set of the first 10 releases on the great Stiff Records label out of England. These records (with the exception of two) were released in 1976. Also included is a promo copy (along with the regular) of the Richard Hell release. So it's a total of 11 singles! The one single that was not released for some time was the Motorhead single (Buy 9). This was their first single but remained unreleased until it came out in the reissue box set of the first 10 singles a few years later. There were 5000 made and I bought one of the box sets just so I could include Buy 9 in this collection. Here's the list:

YEARS OF RELEASE: Nine are from 1976, one is from 1977 and one is from 1978.

PRESSING INFO: Original Stiff U.K. pressings with original sleeves bought when they were released! Buy 1-7 have the "punch out" center piece intact. Buy 8-10 are solid.

EXTRAS: I've included a "Plug Copy" of the Richard Hell 7" and it's #0001! The joke is that all the promos were #0001. Many of these exist. The regular version in this set is #4896. 

CONDITION (Cvrs/Vinyl): VG++ to Mint- (A few bends, none major, but no edgewear, splits or ringwear - ex. the Richard Hell singles, they have a bit on the front)/All Are MINT- to MINT! (ex. the "Plug Copy" Richard Hell release which is VG++).

COMMENTS: These are for the most part UNPLAYED! I went through a lot of trouble to put together this highly collectible set. It'd be pretty tough to find all these in as near perfect shape as these are. This record label was one of the coolest ever and here's your chance to buy into some real musical history!
