Description
Possibly the rarest NWOBHM single ever. This original recording is one of only 50 copies ever made and the cover carries the 001 label. It was produced by Serpent Records and recorded at Riverside Studios in London in 1982. This record has been treasured for the last 30 years and has been played on only a couple of occasions back when it was pressed. As every collector will already know, Stormchild were the seminal NWOBHM band and this is the prize single. These originals very rarely come on to the market and as it was published as a white label test press, there were only ever just a handful in circulation.
This copy comes with a letter of authentication from the song writer of both the A-side and B-side, Neil McCurley. The vinyl itself is in mint condition on both sides. The circular label on the vinyl has no defects whatsoever. The inner sleeve is as new. Commensurate with its age, the white outer sleeve has a very minor tear as can be seen in the photographs. I have provided a number of photographs from different angles, but of course would be very happy to send additional photos upon request.
