Description

London Records stereo 2 disc boxed set STS 15081/82, earliest orange label discs with large FFRR logo and silver text, pressed in the UK by Decca.  Stampers are 1G on all four sides.  First stereo issue of this recording. 

Benjamin Britten, The Prince of the Pagodas, with the composer conducting the Royal Opera House Orchestra, Covent Garden.  Longtime resident on The Absolute Sound Super Disc List.  Terrific sound and a great performance.

Discs all NM, no sign of play,  box NM-,  no cutouts.  Notes on inside of box cover, plus the insert.
