The river Morthond, also known as the Blackroot, was one of the Rivers of Gondor and was located in the province of Lamedon near the Stone of Erech.
Lugburz in Tolkien's dark speech means "Dark Tower".
Orthanc was the black, impenetrable tower of Isengard built by the Dúnedain.
The Dagor Bragollach (Sindarin: "Battle of Sudden Flame") was the fourth battle of the Wars of Beleriand.
Dol Guldur (Sindarin: "Hill of Sorcery") was Sauron's stronghold in Mirkwood.
Dor Daedeloth was the land of Morgoth and the Dark Powers, which makes up half of Beleriand in the legendarium of J.R.R. Tolkien.
