Description

PLEASE READ BEFORE BIDDING: Please read the entire auction listing, including shipping costs, before writing to ask a question.   OUR GOAL IS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. In order to meet that goal, we will ALWAYS work with our customers on any concerns that may arise. In the unlikely instance that you feel the need to open a resolution dispute before working with us, you will immediately be blocked from any further chance to acquire the rare music we present each and every week.   Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Please keep in mind our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office.Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable and will result in blocking the bidder. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our 8000 plus positive feedback.   We use a VPI machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery.   We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! We have served thousands of satisfied customers - far more than our feedback records indicate - and our aim is to continue to do so. Thank you for your interest and support. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SHIPPING:   USA ~ 1 LP = $4.00 Media Priority rates vary by area; please inquire.   All Canadian and Overseas shipping ~ Please inquire about rates. FANTASTIC RARITY = MINTY CLEAN = ALL OVER!

STILL IN ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINK WRAPPER!

Original circa 1970 SUPER RARE first pressing haven't seen a copy this nice in well over 30 or more years...

The Contra Band Music (CBM) label was a pioneer in the field of underground recordings in the early seventies. They were on the same level as their competitors, the TRADE MARK OF QUALITY label ... While they did copy a lot of material from existing Trade Mark of Quality (TMoQ) recordings, they also managed to include many unique sources as this chronology of Rolling Stones releases will show. Such as their outstanding "WE Never REally Got It On Until Detroit" album ...The label went by a couple aliases that include King Kong Records and Wisconsin Cheese Records. Releases were characterized by thick vinyl discs and "insert" covers that were the standard at the time.   This is the same tour that released the famous "LIVER THAN YOU'LL EVER BE" - only the Detroit show, while all by all accounts, even from Mick Jagger, is better, and the album release by far more hard to find...  Mick Jagger in the December 28, 1969, issue of “Rolling Stone” magazine: It was clear to Mick, who noted "The band got better and better the more they performed. That was clear to anyone who heard them on the West Coast, in Oakland ("Liver" show), or Los Angeles, and then, later, in New York or West Palm Beach. Compared to the way we sounded later along, we were terrible in Oakland. Ragged. By the time we were in Detroit, I’d say, it was like a one hundred percent improvement.’” "We Never Really Got It On Till Detroit"   Comments: Audience source of Detroit Stadium, November 24, 1969 1st show.   Track List: Side 1: Jumpin' Jack Flash/ Carol/ Sympathy for the Devil/ Prodigal Son/ You Gotta Move Side 2:  Little Queenie/ Satisfaction/ Honky Tonk Women/ Street Fighting Man

CONDITION: The cover: TOP COPY ... MINT ... one of the *best* copies you could hope to EVER find ... it's in factory shrink wrap, well over 40 years old, and has NO problems, being all stiff, solid, sharp, with no bends, no split seams, no writing ...

The vinyl: looks the same as the day it was released, primitive pressing yes, clean and rated M- by all standards ... clean CBM labels ...

A GREAT ADDITION TO ANYONE'S COLLECTION !
