SXL 2076 KATCHEN /SOLTI Rachmaninov Piano Conc No 2 WB ED1 Pancake LP PRISTINE NM
This is a UK ED1 Wide Band with 'Original Recording By' at 10 o' clock label. It is correct for a 'pancake' version of the ED1 label which has a groove just inside the edge rather than the more common grooved label. Collectors of SXL ED1s will be familiar with this label type
With 1st pressing flipback sleeve and near mint original inner
Matrix codes - ZAL 4089-5D / ZAL 4090-4D
Record - Near mint - vinyl pristine, appears unplayed - labels pristine, no spindle marks, the small slightly brownish spot at the top edge of one of the labels is a minor printing flaw, not damage or a stain
Sleeve - Near mint - no shelf wear
Without doubt this one of the best copies you are ever likely to find. This comes from a small collection of pristine LPs I acquired recently
I have a large record collection and have been trading in classical vinyl records for nearly ten years. I know how to grade records correctly and ship them correctly
I use Record Collector gradings as follows. All my gradings are visual unless stated
MINT: “The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be mint…”
EXCELLENT: “The record shows some sign of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing…”
VERY GOOD: “The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Packing - Up to 2 records will be sent in a strong cardboard mailer between two cardboard stiffeners. 2 to approx 6 will be sent in a cruciform cardboard mailer. Over 6 will be sent in a good cardboard box. My postage charge includes the cost of brand new mailers and stiffeners which cost me about £1 each
