 CONDITION

During my 45 years' experience of handling vinyl records, I have learnt that the grading of these discs solely by a visual inspection is frequently inadequate and unreliable. Every record that I offer for auction on EBAY has therefore been fully and attentively test played, just prior to being listed, using my 'Project' turntable with 'Ortofon' cartridge.  

All of this ensures that when you purchase vinyl records from me you will not experience any unpleasant surprises on playback; a full description of the condition follows:

The record is in superb 'excellent', or even 'excellent plus' condition. The surfaces are noticeably silent. The vinyl has a good sheen, and looks clean and pristine. The quality of the recording is most impressive with a huge dynamic range.
 
I found that the condition on both sides of the disc is similar in that each has two consecutive ticks and around six or seven separate isolated ticks

However as already mentioned, surfaces are remarkably silent and I believe that the points mentioned will not detract. It is possible that some may be dust related and so could possibly disappear with further playing and/or cleaning.

The centre hole has no wear, and there are no spindle trails on the labels.

The outer sleeve is in 'excellent plus' condition with no damage, but with very slight storage and ring wear.

PACKAGING

The record will be supplied in a Japanese anti-static inner sleeve; the original inner sleeve will also be supplied.

A transparent protective cover for the outer sleeve will be provided. 

The record will be packed separately from its outer sleeve in order to prevent splitting in transit.
 
The record will be enclosed in a purpose-made record mailer reinforced with stiffeners. The mailer will be covered with a substantial amount of bubble wrap and then enclosed in a rigid and robust outer box which is 65 mm deep. All of this ensures that the record will arrive safely and in good condition.  

POSTAGE COSTS

It is my policy to use only those Royal Mail Services which require a signature upon delivery, and in addition provide for levels of compensation, should these be necessary in the event of loss or damage during transit.

Postage costs will be combined for multiple purchases where appropriate.

RETURNS POLICY

I operate a no-quibble returns policy so that if you are in anyway dissatisfied with the item, and it is returned to me within 14 days of receipt, I will refund the full purchase price (including postage costs). The cost of the return postage and any insurance would though be the responsibility of the purchaser. If however you believe that my description of the item is inaccurate, I will also refund the cost of the return postage.
