Description
MINT copy of this rare 1962 release on Decca Records (SXL 2312) with the Wide Band label design. Please note, there is no groove on the label.
Pierre Monteux conducts the London Symphony Orchestra in a programme comprising Ravel's "Pavane Pour une Infante Defunte" and "Rapsodie Espagnole" and Debussy's "Prelude a l'Apres Midi d'une Faune" and Nocturnes.
Condition is excellent. The sleeve has a previous owner's name written neatly on the back and the top glue joint has come unstuck. This can be easily repaired and, otherwise, the condition of the sleeve is crisp, clean and undamaged. The spine is uncreased.
The playing surfaces are clean and glossy with no scratches, scuffs or abrasions. Playback is very good indeed with scarcely any surface noise at all.
