Fantastic Clean 1958 UK press Wide band Grooved / Clean. Its been some time since this one appeared on ebay. Last time out was 2007. Its very rare and this is a nice example of a long lost treasure.
Label--Decca. 1958.
Cat Num--SXL2012.
Sleeve--Laminated flip back arc blue edge reverse sleeve is clean excellent (except for tiny negligeable nick to open edge 1mm, and first signs of edge laminate lift. This is a very delicate thin card and I would still say that it would be hard to find better with beautiful white text reverse. With Mint original industry printed lined inner.
Labels-- Wide band grooved, with very light spindle mark to side 2 only, looks great.
Matrix--ZAL3901-2E and ZAL3902-2E in run off dead wax vinyl.
Vinyl-- Original as new sheen to vinyl and plays beautifully from start to end, Minimal very light surface marks are visible on close inspection but does look really nice. Some occasional light pops and low crackle, but generally plays really nice. Remember this LP is 50 years old and so remarkable for its age. Does play very well and a pleasing listen. I grade as a strong VG++ although most would be tempted to grade as excellent.
