Description
One of the finest albums from the Uli Jon Roth era, In Trance captures the Scorpions just as they were evolving into one of hard rock’s greatest bands. This desirable 1983 Canadian RCA International Gold Label pressing stands apart thanks to its highly regarded Bob Gray (“BG”) mastering, delivering the warm, dynamic analog sound collectors continue to seek out decades later.
Even better, the deadwax reveals reused PPL1 metalwork beneath the updated AYL1 catalog number, preserving an earlier analog mastering rather than a later recut. Combined with the sought-after censored cover variation, this pressing has become a favorite among both dedicated Scorpions collectors and audiophiles who appreciate exceptional vintage pressings.
A fantastic copy of an essential hard rock classic featuring favorites like “Dark Lady,” “In Trance,” “Life’s Like a River,” and “Top of the Bill.” An outstanding addition to any serious Scorpions or ’70s hard rock collection.
