Here for auction: Tubby Hayes & Ronnie Scott "The Jazz Couriers". LTZ-L 15188. EX+/NM.Original 1959 UK "London" pressed by Decca and with earliest type of label's. Matrices 1B/1B
As far as I know all the parts of this album are original unless stated otherwise in the description.And all the photos show the item listed here and not some other "stock" photo etc.Just wanted to make that clear.
I have checked parts of both sides of the disc for sound quality on a Thorens TD160 super with SME Mk III arm and B&O MMC II cartridge, Roksan Kandy RA Mark III amp and B & W DM 603 floorstander's. I hope this gives a fair representation of the disc's quality in the description below.
Vinyl is in NM condition.A really amazing disc.Record is very,very clean.Even when viewed in strong light.Just a couple of the most light paper scuffs when viewed right up close.There are no kinks or warps and the disc lies flat on turntable.
Sound is beautifully clear and undistorted with no repetetive tics in the parts played.Disc play's with beautiful silent surfaces.This record looks and sounds hardly used.It's as if it has just come from the shop...Final upgrade copy! Do not miss out on this one.
Cover is in EX+ condition.It is in very fine condition.It has some outline of the record on front of cover but it looks worse in the photo than actually is.In fact it's hardly noticeable, and that is all that's wrong! In every other way the cover could pass as new.Stunning condition.
Label's EX+ Could see only a few light spindle marks and there are no other marks or blemishes at all.Superfine condition.
Original Decca inner sleeve is EX+.
