Simon and Garfunkel Bookends (Columbia KCS 9529) Rare mono white label promo, with stereo number! Another beautiful white label promo ... folks you just won't see cleaner promos than these 3 S&G original monos. With the beautiful covers you should give this auction your serious attention. Investment grade and of course an immortal classic that established Paul Simon as perhaps the premier American pop composer, with one wonderful tune after another. The disc is beautiful with clean white labels; the cover is superb but does have a few minor issues:

  • there is a 2" top abrasion right above the mono sticker on the front
  • There is a minor corner bump in the lower right
  • There is some faint ring wear on the back
That said, this is still a fine specimen of the cover, and the disc is simply magnificent! Watch for some other incredible white label promo LPs up right now from the same collection!

    Note that because of a continuous stream of problems from France, all packages to France must be sent registered at the buyer's expense, regardless of the cost of the purchase.

    • We use sturdy LP mailers designed for the purpose. Occasionally, though, the post office may behave like the gorilla in the Samsonite commercial. Naturally, we have no control over that, so you may feel insurance is wise.
    • If an uninsured or unregistered package goes missing, please be patient. Don't file a claim - give it time to arrive. Despite what you may hear about the US Postal Service, they are in fact very reliable. The number of packages we've sent that actually remained lost is virtually zero out of tens of thousands.
    • We do refund for any reason provided the item returns in the same condition it left (ie we don't cover postal damage.
