TROUBLED WATER...no problem...a dead easy find right? Well, ..yes...there are a squillion copies out there. For sure. But then - 90% of these copies probably are not all that great. What you really should be looking for, if you truly love this title, [as I do].,..is go for a great playing genuine very 1st Day 1 copy.
Notice too how the 1st copies were labeled with quite a noticeable error...TROUBLED WATERS***
But why bother...? Well....I mean...who [as a collector] wants a 1973 copy of BOTW....? Especially when you can find a really nice Day 1 copy without breaking the bank. And there are good reasons to get a Day 1 copy. NUMBER 1 --- You are as close as humanly possible to the master copy. This will draw out every last nuance possible from the master. NUMBER 2...many copies were pressed super flimsy...DAY 1 copies in the month of release were pressed HEAVY with deep grooves. This is important if you want your copy to survive and all that fussy audio to sound great 50 years later....
A very 1st STEREO press on UK CBS. MATRIX A1/B1.. Early copies should come in a heavy-grade cover which is front laminated...These covers as WAY better quality than later reissues. Original CBS inner. 100% genuine and complete.
Vinyl (Ex-) An at least NEAREXCELLENT level of playback with one deviation per side per side. A few very light marks per side - nothing heavy. Nice quiet intros and inbetweens. Audio purity is really good  .. If you want to get the full feeling and emotion of this classic release.... This could be the one for you! The mental brass at the end of Customer...is terrific and this copy can manage it without fuss.
Cover (Vg+) Front looks great without creasing or ageing. The rear is good too with bit of ageing along top edge. Very little edge wear and the openings still very nice and sharp. The spine is 80% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Insert (Vg+) Some creasing.
