Your search ends here if you are in the market for a mono stock copy of "Bookends" in VG+ condition.
I received this in sealed condition, opened it, and have played it twice; once with a mono cartridge which was dead silent, and once with a stereo cartridge for grading purposes in case the buyer does not use a mono cart. It plays a very solid VG+ even with the stereo cartridge. These are the only two plays the record has seen, and the cleaning method of your choice may make it an even better experience.
Pretty amazing to hear the mono mix in this condition after years of only hearing worn copies!
There are sleeve marks on the vinyl from the 50+ years it spent untouched (but I imagine moved from collection to collection) in the original paper inner sleeve.
Marks shown in photos of cover are on shrink only (for instance the long mark near Art's ear). There also appear to have been some stickers applied/removed over the years. The only notable cover flaw is the creasing on the bottom right, back cover as pictured. Spine is in excellent condition (see photo).
A photo is also included of one of the shrink breath holes.
Poster is present and untouched; I did not unfold it.
Deadwax etchings are -1C on both sides.
A really beautiful piece, and one that doesn't come up often in this condition!
