Up for auction is Smokey Smothers Sings the Backporch Blues. King Records 799 This is the rare, 1962 1st edition.

  • Vinyl is VG+
  • Jacket is VG
  • Disk has some haze and moisture splotching.  
  • Side1 engraved runout:  K-12-779-A-1 (see photo #7)
  • Side 2 engraved runout:  k-12-779-B-1 (see photo #8)
  • Plenty of shine.  (See photo #9)
  • There is a 1/2-inch light scratch on side 1, track 5 that cannot be felt with a fingernail. (see photo #10)
  • Otherwise issue free. 
  • Not play tested.  
  • Cover has tape on top seam, the bottom seam is completely split, ring wear and age discoloration.
