Stone Roses Debut Single – So Young / Tell Me 12”
My Stone Roses 12” single, owned from new, and bought when I was living in Manchester during the 1980s. Only played a few times, as I did not have a record player where I was living, so only listened to it on cassette tape (remember those!).
It has been stored in a record box for most of the time, with my other records. There is a little bit of wear on the bottom and top edges of the sleeve, where it has been moved in and out of the collection. There are no creases or folds in the sleeve.
The vinyl itself is mint condition. I even surprised myself when taking it out of the sleeve to take the photographs. No fingerprints or scratches.
Catalogue number THIN001 and released on THIN LINE. Only 1200 copies were pressed. Produced by Martin Hannett.
It has the important reverse label on the single, which shows details from the front cover. The later Japanese pressing has a blank label.
It also has the “Tim Tom” signature etched into the record run off next to the label.
Both of these together signify the authenticity of the piece.
Comes from a smoke free and pet free home.
The record will be carefully wrapped in several layers of cardboard and will be sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery, so a signature will be required at the receiving end.
