LISTENING NOTES:
SIDE NOTE: To get my listening notes I played this on a Clearaudio Ovation TT (Hana SL Needle), through an Audio Research GSi 75 Tube Amp with Transparent Audio cables and Wilson Audio W/P 7 Speakers. My receiver has a MONO setting. I went back and forth between both mono and stereo settings in case someone buys this and does NOT have access to a MONO setting then they would hear more crackle with the stereo setting, but it should be played with the MONO setting and/or MONO needle since this is a MONO record.

Side 1

Song 1
Drums sound muffled and have crackling highs, flute and orchestra sound clearer. Constant distortion for drums throughout track. Minor ticks at end of song.

Song 2
Much better sound than track 1 but still slight distortion. Trumpet sounds good overall. Highs still have a slight distortion to them. Minor bg noise in parts.

Song 3
Cleanest track so far. Slightest high end distortion on parts but beyond that it’s a pleasure to listen to. Overall a clean song.

Song 4
Bass starts off with some distortion. Flutes come in with overall clear sound but some high end distortion in louder parts which is not the nicest sounding. The quieter flute is almost normal. Little to no bg noise after and the slightest distortion in parts thereafter. Few ticks at very end of track.

Side 2

Song 1
Intro has some minor distortion but much better than side 1 as a whole. Overall a nice sound that’s pretty clear. Highs do have some distortion especially if I swap over from mono to stereo on my audio research GSi75 receiver. But record is a mono so mono sounds overall nice. Little if any that distracts me on this song as it was a nice listening experience. One tick deep in towards end then one more rogue light tick.

Song 2
Slight lower end distortion on intro but muted trumpet sounds nice and clear to me on the mono setting. Some high end crunchiness when set to stereo. Light bg noise is present.

Song 3
Still has some distortion. It’s clear for some instruments and slight distortion for others. Overall clear but def some distortion is present. Overall a nice sound but bass has a top end type distortion present and the piano. Deeper in the song the distortion is still present. Just some bg noise here and there.

Song 4
Intro overall sounds pretty clear. Slight high end distortion. Enjoyable listen so far.
