Description

Sun Ra and his Arkestra ~ The Futuristic Sounds Of Sun Ra
This is a French record club reissue of Sun Ra's 1961 masterpiece The Futuristic Sounds Of Sun Ra. The vinyl is in NM to Ex condition. There are no visible marks or blemishes on the vinyl at all.  The record labels are immaculate and have no fingerprints, dirt or spindle marks. The record sleeve is in EX condition. There are no, splits, markings, writing or ring wear. The laminate sleeve remains lovely and glossy but the laminate is lifting in several places, notably around the opening of the sleeve around the edges and on the darker parts of the front cover.
All in all this is a lovely copy of this Arkestra milestone. Ra's compositions on this set veer from swinging, angular space bop to vocal exotica and outwards into more freeform pieces for percussion and and winds. Cosmic enlightenment is guaranteed.
I will ship worldwide with the usual exceptions.
I will pack carefully to ensure safe transit.
Please contact me if you have any questions and thanks for looking.
