Description

Very Rare authentic copy of the Beatles 1st U.S. LP "Introducing The Beatles" LP 1062 ...This is a MONO Version 1 variation 3 with column back.It has the oval logo with rainbow colorband. Here are the codes used for identification purposes for the variations of the jacket and record:The jacket is VJ 1062 (1).MC3, and the record is VJ 1062 (1).MR2 .This version is very rare in that it has" Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" titled on the back. This would indicate one of the earliest releases of the LP in January of 1964, before they removed these titles shortly therafter (after being sued for the inclusion of these songs because Love Me Do and P.S. I Love You, were property of Ardmore & Beechwood, a British music publisher.) and started listing "Please Please Me" and "Ask Me Why" on the back.Almost all the copies of this LP have the latter titles listed .Here are some of the features on the jacket and record indicating it's authenticity:1).George Harrison's shadow is evident. 2).Cover is semi-glossy,not flat finish .3). Paul McCartney's hands are fully visible. 4).Photo is of high quality, not grainy. 5).Cover has a 1/4" overlap of cardboard at the top and bottom of the inside cover. 6).Semi-glossy rainbow colorband label with gradual changes in color.7).Bright sharp silver print on record label. 8).Vinyl trail-off is 1" not greater.9).Vinyl trail-off has the stamps "Audio Matrix" and the "MR" (Monarch Record Mfg. Co., Calif.) stamped in a circle.10). Record label has "Introducing The Beatles" and "The Beatles" printed above the spindle hole. The condition of this record and jacket is as follows: As you can see the previous owner "Roe" has indelibly left her mark on the cover.Other than that the jacket is in very good shape .The jacket has some of the slick worn away at the top and bottom corners closest to the spine(see pictures).Top about 1", bottom just at the corner 1/4" ..A VG cover. The record does have some noticeable scratches, a G+.Comes with plain white inner sleeve. Please see pictures for "AudioMatrix" stamp,Harrison's shadow and semi-gloss refection off of cover. Here is an oppurtunity to own a very rare Beatles record at No Reserve.I have been a Beatles fan and record collector for over 35 years and this is the only authentic copy I have ever found or owned.I will pack and pad the item well, and then double box for safe transit. If you have any questions please ask before bidding.Thank for looking...
