Description
Vintage 1979 Japanese pressing from A&M Records (AMP-6034). Missing the OBI strip, but does include both original inserts. Comes with a generic inner sleeve.
Pressed on Quiex II translucent gold colored high quality vinyl (color shows through when the record is held up to a light source)
Quiex II was a pure vinyl formulation that was colored with dye, rather than the more commonly used carbon black (which has coarse granules and creates noise). Consequently, Quiex pressings are generally considered to be of better sound quality (and are sought out by many collectors).
The vinyl grades VG+ (a few very light sleeve marks) Nearly VG++
The jacket grades VG+ (faint to very light ring wear; light corner wear; very light edge wear
Also includes a 3mil. clear poly outer sleeve.
I visually grade and play grade all of my unsealed records. I try to grade conservatively.
