Philips Japan compilation LP entitled ? ??, or "Zen meditation" circa 1973. This record features original artwork by renown Japanese illustrator Tadanori Yokoo on the gatefold sleeve and includes a large poster inside which is approximately 32x21.5 inches large. The artwork is incredible and the condition is overall quite good for a life in storage. The poster itself shows no signs of being hung up (tape marks, pin holes, etc.) and just some slight wear at the edges wear it has been folded and slight holes at the mid-points of those folds. I did note a very small stain on the backside (bottom left) of the poster. The sleeve has quite a bit of seem splitting on the top edges and wear on corners and bottom edges. As far as LP condition it is quite clean, with some surface scuffs that should barely (if at all) affect play.
On top of it being a collectable piece of art, this record has a beautiful arrangement of music. It is compiled of spacious Japanese folk sounds, especially remnant of the music that accompanies traditional theater. There is certainly a 21st century experimental element to it as well. Overall, an excellent find!
