TEESRI MANZIL (Odeon 5109)

An amazing work by RD Burman, this is one of his earliest scores and probably one the top influental ones! Songs from this 1966 movie and soundtrack are still very popular in India! Incredible rocknroll licks, superb psychedelic suspense elements, crime horns, innovative use of organ, party floor filler beats, primal but superb effects, amazing orchestration... in short, all right buttons were pushed! Such a classic.

The usual problem with finding this soundtrack album comes as the "condition" and we are glad to offer a really great copy though it might not look like so at the first sight! Because of the thin but visible taping around the edges, we will grade the cover as VG+ but other than that there absolutely are no defects. The EX- condition vinyl has shiny grooves and occasional very short and thin hairline scuffs that don't affect sound. None of these original Indian pressings were done pyrotechnically so there is always light background hiss as this one has but it's on a minimum.
