CONDITION:        I strive to provide an accurate and honest appraisal of condition.  It’s in my best interests to do so.  I WANT YOU TO COME BACK!    All records are checked in good light and play tested at a loud volume (unless described as sealed, brand new or stated otherwise).       STRICT   U.K. MAGAZINE  'RECORD COLLECTOR'  GRADING SYSTEM USED.  See below for the full definitions as provided by Record Collector magazine. 

Playing condition is, at its worst, graded as EX-.   Record plays with NO loud pops/clicks,  NO distortion,  NO jumps,   NO sticking.   Just some very minor occasional background surface noise during some, but nowhere near all, of the quieter sections.   Excellent sound quality for a record of this age!!

Visually the vinyl is in EX+ condition.   NO obvious flaws.   Only a few very, very light surface-only marks are visible.  No marks on the vinyl that feel to the touch.   Vinyl still retains its original sheen – looks almost as good as new!

Labels are EX.   Some spindle marks.   NO tears.   NO writing.   NO stickers.

Cover grades as VG condition.   Only main fault is a name and date written on the back cover.   Laminate is generally still neat with a few minor creases.  Back cover has some grubbiness in places.  Minimal edge and corner wear.   All spine text clearly readable.   NO seam splits.   NO tears.   NO stickers.  NO sticker marks.

MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint

EXCELLENT (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG) The record has obviously been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratches. Normal wear and tear on the cover and extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable

GOOD (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F) The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and or deface

POOR (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing

BAD (B) The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection filler

ITEMS ARE SECURELY PACKED.   I ALWAYS USE STRONG CARDBOARD MAILERS - INCLUDING STIFFINERS - IN WHICH TO SEND VINYL.     RECORDS  ARE PACKED ACCORDINGLY TO AVOID SEAM SPLITS TO THE OUTER COVER AND/OR PICTURE INNER SLEEVE WHILST IN TRANSIT. IN ALL CASES I ALWAYS OBTAIN PROOF OF POSTING.
