Savoy Set S-502, 78 RPM, 4-record Set, includes 580 thru 583. Red labels.
TENOR SAX No. 2 - Lester Young / Ben Webster / Don Byas / Coleman Hawkins .
c. 1948 issue; recorded in New York, April 17, May 1 and July 28, 1944.
Previous owner wrote purchase date of July 3, 1948 on first inner sleeve.
Records are in E- / V++ condition, most have a bit of a dish warp that does not affect play. a couple of sides may require a penny on the tone arm to prevent a needle jump at the start if your turntable’s tone arm is extra light. Labels are good. The binder is in very good condition, shelf wear.
