TESTED Vintage LP: Frank Zappa - Indiscreet Picture Show - Smog Records - 1981 Release of 1974 Recordings
Comments: Fully play-tested before being offered for sale. I bought this record new in the early 1980s.
Visual Record Condition: The vinyl condition is Near Mint. It's very glossy. There are very light surface scuff marks that have no significant effect on sound. In my photos, lighter scuff marks can be hard to see because of the surface glossiness.
Record Labels Condition: The labels look great with no wear to speak of. There is no text on the greenish labels other than giant sized letters to identify sides. There is no writing or stickers on the labels.
Play Test Notes: I played this record from start to finish before offering the album for sale. General background record surface noise is minimal. The sound quality is excellent with pleasing tone. There were no skips or sticks, of course. The music from this Zappa period is very enjoyable.
Jacket Type and Condition: The regular LP jacket is in EX condition. It is very close to Near Mint except for super-tiny corner dings and a small stain on the back in the credits area. General surface wear to the art work is minimal. A little rub wear is visible in the white credits area on the back. There is no text on the spine. There are no seam splits and no writing. Please examine the photos closely for a fuller understanding of condition. The jacket has been housed in a protective clear outer poly sleeve to help prevent further wear for all of the years I've owned the album. I just replaced that forty-some year old outer poly sleeve with a fresh one.
Inner Sleeve Type and Condition: The original inner sleeve is plain white paper and is in excellent condition with minimal wear and no splits. I recently placed the vinyl in a high quality poly inner sleeve for better protection and to preserve the original sleeve during shipping. The record in the poly sleeve will be shipped outside of the record cover, of course.
Inserts: No inserts.
Shipping Notes: I've been selling records by mail since 1992. I know a thing or two about packing records safely for shipping, using appropriate, professional grade packing materials. The shipping charge you are asked to pay covers some of the costs I incur for postage and quality packing materials. This record will be packed well for secure shipping. By default the package will travel by the potentially slower USPS Media Mail rate. For speedier delivery, options to use USPS Ground Advantage or USPS Priority Mail shipping are provided at check-out. I generally pack and ship items sold right away and hand them over to the post office at the earliest opportunity (sometimes same day, sometimes next day).

I promise to pack your item securely, no matter what it is. Everything I ship gets packed well, so don't worry about a thing.
If appropriate I will add insurance coverage. Sometimes I will add signature tracking (USA) when your item is shipped. Signature tracking ensures that the postal service doesn't leave your valuable item unattended on your doorstep out in the sun or rain - it has to be handed over face to face. If you order something rare and/or worth a bit, be prepared to have to accept delivery in person.

When multiple items are shipped together, I can almost always give you a better deal on the shipping cost compared to the individual shipping costs. I promise to give you the best rate possible based on the items purchased and the shipping method required.
For "Buy It Now" items (most of what I offer), simply add each item that you want to your shopping cart. When ready to commit to buying, request a total from me from your cart and I'll send an invoice as soon as I can. Since I'm not a computer and I do other things like sleep and take the dogs for walks, you might not receive an immediate response, but I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you decide to pay for items you want individually instead of requesting a total from the shopping cart, I will promptly send back whatever money I can for a shipping discount.
- Some items are not compatible for combined shipping.
- Combining shipping might require changing the shipping method or increase packaging materials expense.
- A few items that I offer are not eligible for combined shipping.
- Of course it is ok to ask about combined shipping costs up front. You have to tell me exactly what you intend to buy and where it will be shipped. I can't always give an exact cost, but I can at least give you an estimate.
- I reserve the right to limit the number or total value of items that I'm willing to send in a single package.
- For international sales I use ebay's international shipping program. Combined shipping depends on the ebay shipping program rules in place at the time of shipment. It is possible that no combined shipping discount is available for international orders.
