We are looking through boxes of acetates we have had in store for years and will be listing these over the next few weeks.

We are offering, this time, four on the Beatles Apple Label.

This lot is for:

The Sutherland Brothers with "You Got Me Anyway"

They never released anything on the Apple Label but this track was included on the album "Lifeboat" issued in January 1973. This track got a lot of airplay and was also covered by Peter Noone (Hermans Hermits).

This may simply have been a try-out of a new song but the notes on the label "good mix" and the date "23/2" suggest that this was a trial mix. It may well differ to the released version.

However, it is as a BEATLES / APPLE LABEL item that it attracts interest!
